 Manan Reviews Chapter 3 The Big Bull

One of the most awaited movies this year. But I have heard that people are spread a lot of hate to this movie. But does this movie deserve your hate. Well, the answer is not that simple. Because when it comes to share market SCAM 1992 will always be on the top and I dont think that anyone else can do what SCAM 1992 had done and now when Big Bull has released everyone is spreading hate to it. I personally think that there is no reason for spreading hate to this movie But anyway lets start the review.

 STORY

Although the story is fictitious and revolves around the character of Hemant Shah, the story is highly inspired by the story of Harshad Mehta except a few tiny details. If you have seen SCAM 1992 this movie will be a complete waste of time and money but if you haven't seen Scam 1992 or if you dont have enough time to watch a 10 hour long series Big Bull will be a good option. If you dont have any idea about share market then also you will understand the movie because Share Market is explained in very simple words so I dont think there will be a problem to understand.

SCREENPLAY, DIRECTION AND ACTING

The screenplay is very similar to Scam 1992's screenplay but overall it is okay.

The Direction is good but not as good as compared to Hansal Mehta's direction in Scam 1992. I personally think that the direction was weak in the first half of this movie. The second half is way better directed than the first half.

Nobody can beat the acting performance by Pratik Gandhi but no doubt Abhishek Bacchan has done a great job playing the character of Hemant Shah. The other supporting actors have also done a very good job.

POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE POINTS

Positive:- Abhishek Bachhan has done a great job playing the character of Hemant Shah. The direction in the second half is very good. The background music by Carryminati is good and they have recreated the 90's excellently. 

Negative:- The Carryminati song is very pushy and kills the hype of the scene. If you have seen Scam 1992 you can easily predict the entire film. Ileana D Cruz's character is very poorly written.

FINAL VERDICT

The movie is watchable but if you have seen Scam 1992 it will be a complete waste of time. The only strong point I find to watch this movie is Abhishek Bhachhan's acting.
