Today is a kind of special day because today 2 years ago I had seen my last Marvel Movie in theatres and that movie was Endgame. After that I ain't seen any Marvel movie in theatres. And on this "kind of" special day I am going to review the latest Marvel miniseries which is "THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER". I was quite excited for the series because we all wanted an iconic Marvel action packed series rather than black and white sitcoms and the series did not disappoint us. Lets start the review. 

STORY

The story starts right after the events of Endgame. The story mainly focuses on the journey of Falcon becoming the new Captain America. I personally think that Bucky was given less importance and character development but that is fine. The story is quite unpredictable and we keep getting surprises . One very good point about the story is that has a very good social message .Overall the story is good. In many episodes story is either very fast or very slow which is not a good point but it is fine.

SCREENPLAY, DIRECTION AND ACTING

As I told the screenplay is not so good because in many episodes story is either very fast or very slow. Which disturbs the flow of the episodes. It is not a big problem if you are watching one episode a week but it is a problem if you are watching all the episodes in one go.

Kari Skogland has done a very good job directing this series. Because since the screenplay was weak the direction had to be good. And yet it is.

Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russel all have done a very good job in this series. In fact I became a fan of Wyatt Russel after watching this series.

ACTION AND VFX/CGI

The action is the heart of this series because it had been a long time since we had seen an action packed Marvel project. In this series the action is awesome.

A big salute to the VFX department who have done a good job in this series as well.

POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE POINTS

Positive:- The story is good, acting is great and the action and vfx is also  very good in this series. IT has a very good social message and it is a perfect watch for a Marvel Fan.

Negative:- The screenplay is weak and the suit of Falcon in the last episode was nit so good. Also the completely wasted Daniel Bruhl's Zemo's character.

THE FINAL VERDICT

The series is a perfect watch for a Marvel fan and if you have time to watch a good action packed series then watch this 6 episode long series
